Academic background, education, teaching perspective and professional profile.
Dr. Parameswara P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, where he has been associated with the institution since 2015.
He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Mysore and holds an M.Sc. in Physics from Bangalore University. His academic work combines undergraduate engineering-physics education, laboratory instruction, student mentoring and academic service with research in functional materials.
His research centres on functional nanomaterials and sustainable approaches to their development, characterization and application. Detailed research themes and current work are presented on the Research page.
As an educator, he emphasizes conceptual clarity, visualization, experimentation and application-oriented learning, connecting fundamental Physics with engineering practice.
Curiosity in every direction. Music offers a space for listening and discovery, photography encourages a closer look at the world, and reading opens up new perspectives. Together, these interests complement a life centred on learning, teaching and research.
